Intellectual
How can you be "improving" your life if your
not "improving" your brain's capacity to think?
Intellectual goals can be as simple as reading a book to going back
to school for your Phd. You can not be successful without having
your intellectual goals met. I liken it to someone who marries for
looks alone. You may have all your physical needs met but boy it
would get boring fast. You would not be able to share a joke.
You would have nothing in common to discuss. Intellectual
stimulation will keep you young. It is part of our life, don't
neglect it.
The examples below are a simplified
version of what ONE major goal may look like. The toughest part for
any goal setting is to break it down into daily tasks (Step 5). The
tasks in this example are actually something you could do in the
first day or week of reaching your goal. It was done this way on
purpose so as to give you a starting point. Remember Goal setting is
a DAILY TASK. Get into the habit of reviewing your goals on a daily
basis.
