About Us

MY MISSION- I will get everything I want out of life if I just help enough other people get what they want.

I believe that says it all. My success is based on your success. This web site is dedicated to that end. All the work, time, effort, and money to set up these programs  is so that YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL. It is a philosophy of life that has been taught for thousands of years and yet it still flies in the face of conventional wisdom of the "me, me attitude."

We have developed 3 high impact training courses. If you like what you read here, imagine having it presented live to your business, social group or real estate team by one of our exciting speakers? Our courses all delve into the topics presented here in greater depth and leave a strong impression on all who attend. Course One is on goal setting and achieving success through setting objectives. Course Two is on sales success and learning the techniques necessary to get more sales. And Course Three teaches real estate success through business plans and targets.

This program was meant to make you think, and work hard at setting a goal, then achieving it.  Because its the ACHIEVING of your goal that help you rise above a mediocre life. Many times people spend more time planning a wedding then they do the rest of their life. Take seriously the messages in this site and YOU WILL SUCCEED. How can you hit a target that you can't see, or better yet, how can you hit a target that you don't even have? That thought is the founding principle of all goal setting. How can you achieve a goal that you CLEARLY have not set? This site is dedicated to help you set targets and goals for your all aspects of your life.

It is a simple idea yet many do not value the time and energy required to "plan out your life" the way that you would plan out a business. When you go see a bank manager for a business loan, do you really think he'll give you money based on simply an idea that you have not even written down? No way! Do you think that your happiness, success and well being are worth a few hours of time to organize on paper?....absolutely!

The great news is that you probably already have some sort of idea of things you want to accomplish. Whether you are young or old, everybody has ideas in their mind of something they need to complete. Everybody has a goal in mind ( lose weight, pay off debt....) This site is here to help you get it on paper. I take goal planning very seriously, and I am here to convince you that so should you.

The information provided is free. All the time, work, effort and money used to create this site is my way of "giving back". My personal philosophy is based on my faith, and that we are all called to achieve greatness through the helping of others.  My human inspiration comes from the life Mother Theresa. She lived and breathed this philosophy. All I did was apply it, or re-package her core beliefs into the concept that setting and achieving goals actually boosts your self- esteem. The life's work of Mother Theresa is shining example of a strong faith and a strong sense of self worth. Because once you have strong self esteem, then YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL!! You can DO anything you want, you can BE anything you want, you can HAVE anything you want....it starts with setting the goal.

My Story

The idea of the six steps to success actually came to me in 2002 while in the hospital. I was flat on my back, with an IV of morphine being dripped into my bloodstream. I had a portion of my stomach removed due to a "flattened bowel" that throughout my whole life caused me periodic, intense pain. I was greatly depressed because this "interruption" in my life meant that my business would suffer. You see, I had built up a manufacturing / distribution  business for the past 18 years that I was quite proud of. It was my whole life. I could not even imagine doing anything else for a living. I had seen this business through some of the toughest times in my 42 years of living and I was not about to let this little operation slow me down.

While lying there, a dear friend of mine sent me some audio tapes on how to stay motivated. Well I don't know if it was the tapes, the morphine or possibly a "mid-life" crisis, but I suddenly got even more depressed. For the first time in my life I felt like I did not know what to do. I had no direction. I did not know where to go, or even how I was to get there. It was bringing me down because here I was in the hospital, with a hole in my gut, a 3 year old and a newborn baby ( 2 months) for whom I had to provide.  To top it all off, I also had  and a business with loans, payroll taxes to pay etc... It seemed everything I had worked for had suddenly stopped and I hit a wall. It was as if suddenly my whole life's work meant nothing.

I can not explain the feeling. It absolutely terrified me not knowing what I was going to do. I always knew that I had some sort of direction in life. I consistently had ideas of where I was going, but never a real plan. Only passing thoughts floating in my mind. I certainly knew how to write a business plan to acquire loans and such, but I never had any  personal plan in place; one that integrated into my business plans. One that provided for  alternatives and a road map for a complete life. I suddenly realized that my life up until now was like a car that was driving down a road in the fog. The passing ideas in my mind allowed me to see a few hundred feet in front of me but that was all. It was, to say the least a very scary point in my life.

This type of thinking allowed me to step out of my present mindset and see my life as it really was. It allowed me to see it objectively. I saw that I was living reactively. That is, I reacted to any crisis that came upon me. Instead of seeing the pothole in the road, I drove through it and dealt with the damage it caused later. It was this idea of being reactive versus proactive that stirred the need for a change. I knew that I needed to re-focus my life. To actually change my basic thought patterns. I felt somewhat embarrassed by thinking that here I was a 42 year old man with no plan in place. No direction or goals. What would my friends think?  Everybody else I knew seemed so successful. They certainly didn't have the problems I had. Or at least that is what I thought.

That is when I knew I needed to change. I now recognize that change is the impetus for greatness. It is the key that starts a magnificent and powerful car. However change can be very scary. It is so natural to stay in our comfort zone. It feels safe and non-threatening. I knew I needed to change, but where do I start? I looked back on my life and the past training I had received. Obviously I had built a successful business for 18 years on some sort of foundation. I went back to all the seminars and books I had read. Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar and of course I always admired the life of Mother Theresa. I had talked a lot about planning and goal setting in business terms but never a plan that encompassed my whole life.  One that was a complete picture of success. One that had safe guards, back-up systems and where I could track my progress. That is the essence of the six steps to success. I needed a "business plan" for my life. After all I spent so much time and effort on my external business, why not spend the same time and effort for my own life?

That is when I took my life's knowledge and put it on paper. This became the foundational information for the six steps to success. I took all my knowledge of running a business and applied it to "running" my life. I knew it needed to be complete. One that had all the bases covered. One that would be deemed successful in all areas of my life. That is when I formulated the six foundations or what I now call the success matrix. From these six foundations or success matrices I wrote a business plan for my life and I wrote it as if I was going to present it to a bank. I knew they would want to see clearly defined objectives (written goals);  market analysis (why my goals will succeed, the benefits); who my competitors are (my roadblocks); daily operations and cash flow projections (my daily tasks) and finally a timeline or projection for this plan.

That, in a nutshell is how the six steps to success was developed. Since then I can honestly say my whole life took on a new perspective. By setting goals on paper and following a program for achieving them I have attained a lifestyle that I once dreamt about. When people ask me how I'm doing I tell them I have a "pinch me" life. Pinch me, I think I'm dreaming..... I started an investment company ( www.manainvestments.com). I have entered into triathlons. I have won accolades and received recognition for my work. I do not say this to boast. I say it because it has only been SINCE I started this goals program that I started to truly accomplish things in life.

And I firmly believe that you too can have all that you dream as well...
